About the Role
The scientific department for Trauma and Transculturality at the ZENTRUM ÜBERLEBEN aims to scientifically investigate the psychological consequences of war, torture, and flight, as well as their contextual factors, develop intervention applications for practice, and derive recommendations for action for psychosocial care planning and policy. We are looking for an intern to join various work areas of the department.
Responsibilities
- Creation and evaluation of digital surveys (LimeSurvey)
- Monitoring of ongoing data collection in clinical departments
- Support with scientific evaluations
- Support with literature research and management
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology
- Experience in creating digital surveys (ideally LimeSurvey) and basic knowledge of Excel
- At least basic knowledge of statistical programs (ideally R)
- Very good communication skills and intercultural competence
- Independent and structured way of working
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, and good teamwork skills
- Fluent German language skills; further language skills (Ukrainian, Arabic, etc.) are an advantage

- At ZENTRUM ÜBERLEBEN (formerly Behandlungszentrum für Folteropfer e.V.), we advocate nationally and internationally for survivors of torture and war violence.
