About the Role

The Data Reporting Analyst serves as a consultant for business areas by collecting and analyzing operational and financial data to support evidence-based decision-making and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Mine data, conduct analysis, and interpret results related to business needs.
  • Design and develop analytical models and reports.
  • Identify issues and recommend resolutions to management.
  • Develop knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, and cost containment strategies.
  • Perform acceptance testing of new reports, programs, and models.
  • Document business requirements and methods.
  • Drive analytic innovation and best practices.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficient use of resources.
  • Serve as a resource on analytic programming tools and methods.
  • Review data to assist with cost containment strategy development.
  • Train team members on analytical tasks.
  • Lead meetings with internal and external constituents.
  • Architect enterprise-level reporting solutions.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into analytical frameworks.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning sessions.
  • Champion process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Evaluate and implement new analytical tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, and structures.
  • Knowledge of data mining and analytic programming tools.
  • Ability to design and develop reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Business sense in finance, accounting, economics, risk management, public health, or epidemiology.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to document business requirements.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies is highly desired.
  • Background check required.
  • Wired internet connection with minimum 5Mb upload and 10Mb download speed for remote work.

Salary/Compensations

  • Data Reporting Analyst: $69,700 – $93,400 (hiring range), $65,000 – $107,000 (full range)
  • Data Reporting Analyst Senior: $92,600 – $124,200 (hiring range), $87,000 – $142,000 (full range)
  • Data Reporting Analyst Senior II: $111,300 – $149,300 (hiring range), $104,000 – $171,000 (full range)
