About the Role
Within Mace's consult business, harness unique expertise in project delivery consultancy to unlock project potential. This role supports major transit and transportation infrastructure programs in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Determine and arrange project management, technical services, and external resources.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support teams and ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Produce design and authorities programs, integrating them with procurement and delivery.
- Manage timely and successful project delivery from inception through construction.
- Deliver project objectives in line with the Project Execution Plan and achieve strategic KPIs.
- Prepare and update project plans.
- Oversee project timeframes and budgets, identifying risks and mitigations.
- Ensure robust quality systems are in place and managed.
- Lead and record relevant meetings, providing contextual information and analysis.
- Promote and drive business priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data, and Responsible Business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, delivering medium-sized projects successfully.
- Developed expertise in budget oversight and financial management.
- Developing experience in bidding and work-winning activities.
- Proficient knowledge and experience within a specific sector or project market.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications aligned to the project portfolio.
- Sound technical knowledge of Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements or local equivalents, including sector-specific regulations.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Uses advanced communication skills to guide teams and stakeholders toward achieving project KPIs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to prepare reports, negotiate, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve planning, estimating, contract administration, and procurement challenges.
