About the Role

We are looking for a Stockroom Specialist / Sales Associate for a permanent, full-time position in our Salomon Store in Covent Garden, London. You will be responsible for managing the flow of products within the store and contributing to the achievement of sales targets by ensuring excellent customer service through optimal inventory management and executing in-store merchandise flow processes.

Responsibilities

• Organize the receipt of goods and carry out qualitative and quantitative checks on deliveries.
• Ensure stock is made available daily and as quickly as possible for placement on the sales floor to maximize sales opportunities.
• Participate in seasonal transitions in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of physical inventory counts.
• Provide support to sales floor teams during periods of increased business activity.
• Accompany and advise customers to provide a high-level customer experience and propose complementary products.
• Be proficient in Sales Techniques and Digital Tools available in store to provide outstanding customer service.
• Be confident at cash handling.
• Be a brand ambassador and leverage the brand service culture.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position within the retail or large-scale distribution sector.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to optimize inventory management processes.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering quality work.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable interpreting inventory reports.
• Knowledge of Cegid software.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in customer service and retail.
• Love interacting with people and sharing enthusiasm with the team.
• Passion and knowledge of Salomon's core sports.
• Team player.
• Hands-on approach with a strong willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that can include evenings, weekends and holidays.
