About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Associate / Training Specialist for a permanent, full-time position in our Salomon Store in Covent Garden, London. This role involves utilizing exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to drive sales and provide a high-level customer experience. Additionally, you will lead training sessions for the Retail Team and support the onboarding process for new starters.
Responsibilities
- Utilize exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and Salomon product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales.
- Accompany and advise customers to provide them with a high-level customer experience and propose complementary products.
- Be proficient in Sales Techniques and Digital Tools available in store to provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist in protecting company assets and procedures through promoting loss prevention.
- Ensure that the stockroom is clean and well-organized.
- Be confident at cash handling.
- Master standard operating procedures, health and safety guidelines, visual merchandising, and community marketing principles.
- Be a brand ambassador and leverage the brand service culture.
- Lead training sessions for the Retail Team.
- Support the onboarding process for new starters.
- Liaise with the Retail Training Team in HQ (France).
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service and retail.
- Love interacting with people and sharing enthusiasm with the team.
- Passion and knowledge of Salomon's core sports.
- Team player.
- Hands-on approach with a strong willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that can include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
