About the Role

Working within a defined portfolio of Sainsbury’s and other retail outlets, you’ll be the first point of call for all their planned and reactive shutters and automatic gate maintenance tasks. You’ll carry out servicing and repairs safely and to an agreed standard, achieving first time fix to a required Service Level. You’ll be able to effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions, escalating where necessary. You’ll also sponsor and complete S&G surveys and technical reports and ensure appropriate audits and checks are carried out in line with standards provided. As you will be representing Arcus, it is essential you make a good impression and comply with the dress code and maintain your Company vehicle in good condition.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive shutters and automatic gate maintenance tasks.
Perform servicing and repairs safely and to an agreed standard.
Achieve first time fix to a required Service Level.
Diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems.
Provide effective solutions and escalate where necessary.
Sponsor and complete S&G surveys and technical reports.
Ensure appropriate audits and checks are carried out in line with standards provided.
Represent Arcus, make a good impression, comply with the dress code, and maintain Company vehicle in good condition.
Be on call, reacting to emergencies and attending business critical works.

Requirements

Experience gained within Facilities Management or Retail.
Ability to travel around various sites in and around London.
Enjoy working autonomously in a pressurised environment.
Ability to prioritise a complex and demanding workload.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Customer service driven.
Significant experience ideally gained in a retail environment, including: Roller shutters, Roller grilles, Fire shutters, Sectional doors, Fire curtains, Hi Speed doors, Folding doors, Manual gates, Automatic gates, Dock Levellers, Dock Shelters.
Full UK driving licence.
17th or 18th Edition AMD3.
CSCS Cards.
IPAF & PASMA.

Up to £42,447 (depending on experience)
Full door-to-door pay
Call out premium incorporated into basic salary
