About the Role

Seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in installing, servicing, and repairing lifts. This role involves conducting inspections, surveys, and audits to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Attend sites and examine a wide variety of lifting equipment, issuing detailed reports to clients.
  • Survey existing plant to report on service delivery, compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Disability Discrimination Act, and lift lifecycle analysis.
  • Provide overview reports outlining options for refurbishment or replacement of existing installations.
  • Conduct visual surveys of existing installations to benchmark against quality expectations and produce reports.
  • Provide professional advice on incumbent service provider performance and service delivery, supported by written reports.
  • Travel independently to customer sites as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lift products and accessories.
  • Complete test certificates and associated documentation accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Work in a methodical, efficient, and professional manner while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required by senior management.
  • Deliver an excellent customer and client experience.
  • Ensure maintenance, inspections, and repairs are carried out safely, accurately, and cost-effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience carrying out lift service and maintenance inspections.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of lift systems independently.
  • Experience working autonomously in a customer-facing role.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of current Health & Safety procedures and standards.
  • Full UK driving licence.
