About the Role
Responsible for cleaning the dealership as required, ensuring customer service areas are kept neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect all areas of the dealership.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
- Steam-clean carpets.
- Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
- Mix various cleaning agents.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
- Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
- Move furniture.
- Identify and report possible repairs.
- Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
- Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Use and comply with all safety rules in all aspects of the position.
- Ability to take direction from the Department Manager.
- Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
- An applicant must pass a drug test.
- Must have a clean, valid Driver’s License.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have reliable transportation.
