About the Role

AMP Sales & Marketing Solutions is seeking a visionary leader to serve as VP, General Manager for one or more local content centers and monetization and marketing teams. This role is responsible for strategy, growth, culture, and operational excellence, leading high-performing teams and driving revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the charge in amplifying market presence, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery of results across all teams.
  • Maximize share of wallet across all media platforms by guiding sales and marketing teams to hit revenue targets, grow audience engagement, and build client relationships.
  • Develop and implement innovative business plans, identify growth opportunities, and analyze market trends.
  • Mentor and inspire cross-functional teams, shaping a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Dive deep into competitive landscapes and audience data to fuel expansion strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, advertisers, community leaders, and industry partners.
  • Serve as a visible culture carrier and the face of AMP Sales & Marketing Solutions in the market.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior management level roles, ideally in media, digital, or broadcasting.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and driving measurable success.
  • Comfort with P&L ownership, financial planning, and operational excellence.
  • Understanding of broadcasting regulations, content guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong digital acumen and understanding of leveraging emerging technologies, including AI.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace change.
  • A valid driver's license, up-to-date insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary.
