About the Role

The Data Analyst Team Lead will lead the development of data-as-a-product solutions, translating market data needs into actionable insights and ensuring data products deliver optimal value. Approximately 50% of the role involves team leadership and strategic initiatives, with the other 50% focused on hands-on operational project work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 3-4 data analysts
• Ensure early knowledge and involvement in initiatives with a data component
• Stay up to date with data reporting technologies
• Retrieve data reporting needs from external clients and potential customers
• Work collaboratively across departments to drive external insights based on data
• Work closely with Product Managers to ensure data needs are accounted for in tooling requirements
• Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure roadmap alignment, manage dependencies, and propose solutions
• Continuously improve reporting capabilities across analytics teams
• Roll out dashboards to the organization and support project-related rollouts
• Drive alignment with internal stakeholders during customer rollout
• Identify potential biases and reporting risks and provide reports to mitigate them
• Establish standardized gathering of regional insights and integrate into internal reports
• Identify opportunities to integrate data efficiently to maximize engagement and ease of use
• Co-develop the roadmap for data delivery
• Determine prioritization of work amongst the team
• Coach team members to increase knowledge and expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with fluency in mathematics, statistics and/or data analysis
• 7 years' experience in data reporting and analysis
• 1 year's experience in management, or equivalent in coaching, mentoring, and training junior staff
• Ability to identify underlying challenges and work proactively and collaboratively to solve them
• End-to-end experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau
• Fluency in English
• Legally authorized to work in the Netherlands
