Responsibilities

• Design and build auditable, repeatable data pipelines using local and cloud infrastructure, prioritizing data security and best practices.
• Manage the full data lifecycle, from scoping to delivery, including robust architectures, validation frameworks, and scalable ingestion processes.
• Define and maintain data governance standards.
• Mentor junior colleagues in navigating complex datasets and tooling.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies, including AI-driven automation and cloud-native solutions, to enhance internal capabilities.

Requirements

• Demonstrable professional experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Advanced Python for data wrangling and processing.
• Proven experience designing scalable architectures and managing large datasets in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks and Microsoft Azure is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Client-focused mindset.
• A degree in a quantitative field or equivalent proven track record.
• Genuine curiosity for complex economic questions.
• Fluency in English is essential.
