About the Role
We are looking for an AI-Enabled People Operations Intern to centralize our People data, build reporting infrastructure, and automate workflows to support our scaling operations. You will report directly to our People and AI Enablement Partner and will be based in our London office 3 to 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Systematically review employee records in Elmo and People folders, flagging anything that needs updating or completing.
- Work with managers and team members to resolve data issues.
- Build recurring reports in Elmo that surface key People team information.
- Design and build at least one Elmo dashboard with key People metrics.
- Use the Elmo API, Zapier, Make, or similar tools to set up automation workflows.
- Set up workflows that flag missing documents, alert managers to outdated information, trigger reports on schedule, or pull data from Elmo into other systems.
- Ensure all employee records are current and documented, establishing a tracking system for ongoing updates.
- Build and test recurring reports in Elmo for the People team.
- Design and deploy at least one automated workflow that runs without manual intervention.
- Hand over clear documentation for maintaining and extending workflows.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in data and analytics.
- Understanding of how to work with AI tools and automation platforms to solve operational problems.
- Ability to learn APIs and integrations on the fly.
- Comfort with detail work and problem-solving.
- Willingness to chase people and follow up on gaps.
- Experience with HRIS systems or HR operations (valuable but not essential).
- Python or basic scripting experience (valuable but not essential).
- API integration experience (valuable but not essential).
- SQL or data querying experience (valuable but not essential).
