About the Role

This role involves overseeing a portfolio of accounts for a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network. The Account Director will be responsible for delivering industry-defining work for major sports and entertainment brands, managing client relationships, and overseeing all aspects of digital content delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing a portfolio of accounts across sport and entertainment, ensuring exceptional client servicing.
  • Acting as the senior agency contact for client stakeholders and developing strong relationships.
  • Managing a Senior Account Manager and mentoring delivery teams across various agency functions.
  • Developing client strategies in collaboration with the agency strategy team.
  • Liaising with multiple internal business areas to ensure alignment and manage deliverables.
  • Continuously reviewing project delivery, making proactive suggestions, and ensuring best-in-class standards.
  • Managing multiple workflows to ensure complex client projects are delivered on time and to high quality.
  • Managing resourcing levels across accounts and projects, optimizing plans in line with budgets and client needs.
  • Guiding the creation and presentation of in-depth insights reports with quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and collaborating to develop them.
  • Identifying potential challenges and working collaboratively to troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

  • First-class project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • A track record of developing strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • A track record of managing and motivating delivery teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital and social media landscape.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams to deliver success.
