About the Role
As Head of Development (Hospitality), you will be responsible for the entire growth chain, from site acquisition and project planning to expansion and handover to operations. You will lead an interdisciplinary team and ensure our hospitality product grows in exciting cities across Germany and Europe. Reporting to the COO, you will significantly contribute to realizing our vision.
Responsibilities
- Structure and lead the Development department, developing structures, scalable processes, and tools for efficient collaboration between expansion and project development.
- Ensure a smooth handover from acquisition to project development.
- Manage the strategic, conceptual, and operational control of all planning and construction activities.
- Create feasibility analyses, project budgets, and timelines, ensuring their consistent adherence.
- Standardize our product according to our vision, making Homaris 'ready to accelerate'.
- Identify and maintain an international network of developers, project developers, general contractors, and production partners.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Management, Urban Planning, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership role in project development and/or expansion, ideally in the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in managing complex expansion and construction projects.
- Proficiency in using controlling instruments, KPIs, and project management methods.
- German language skills (minimum B2) and English language skills (minimum C1).
- Entrepreneurial thinking and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain the big picture perspective as a manager.
- Experience utilizing AI-supported methods to make processes more efficient and scalable.
- Ability to empower your team to utilize AI-supported methods.
- Natural leadership personality, capable of motivating, developing, and uniting teams.
- Confident demeanor with external partners, ability to negotiate at eye level and successfully conclude complex negotiations.
- High affinity for processes and ability to identify improvement potential before it becomes a problem.
- Provide at least two references in your resume.

Salary/Compensations
- EUR 75,000 - EUR 105,000 gross per year
