About the Role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking experienced oncology pharmacists to help establish a brand-new oncology pharmacy service. The Bank Senior Clinical Pharmacists will play a key role in developing guidelines, policies, and protocols to ensure a safe and patient-centred service from the outset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy service standards, guidelines, and care pathways relevant to oncology.
• Support the introduction of new medicines, commissioning decisions, and treatment protocols in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the day-to-day clinical pharmacy service to oncology and haematology patients across inpatient wards, the chemotherapy day unit, and outpatient clinics.
• Act as an authorised pharmacist in the pharmacy aseptic unit, undertaking prescription validation and release of chemotherapy, biological, and CIVAS products.
• Development and maintenance of up-to-date oncology pharmaceutical guidelines, protocols, and Patient Group Directions.

Requirements

• Completion of a master’s degree in pharmacy (or equivalent) (essential).
• Post graduate clinical diploma in clinical pharmacy (hospital) or equivalent experience (essential).
• Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) (essential).
• BOPA passport - level 2c adult solid tumour and haematology modules (desirable).
• Significant experience in oncology and/or haematology pharmacy (essential).
• Experience of clinical verification of SACT prescriptions (essential).
