About the Role
Lead complex, data-driven transformation programmes for organisations in regulated environments such as pensions, insurance, and financial services. This role is for a delivery lead comfortable at the intersection of operations, data, and technology, bringing structure and momentum to programmes where execution certainty is critical.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, data-driven transformation programmes.
- Work closely with client stakeholders across operations, IT, and senior leadership.
- Help clients move from fragmented, manual processes to more standardised, scalable, and analytics-led operating models.
- Provide hands-on leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage dependencies across teams while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes such as speed, quality, and capacity.
- Define, design, assess, and deliver transformation initiatives.
- Translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Bring consensus within challenging stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years’ total professional experience in agile / programme delivery.
- Minimum of 3 years’ consulting experience.
- Minimum of 4 years’ Financial Services / Insurance experience.
- Strong understanding and experience of Jira setup at scale.
- Strong understanding of Agile practices to support collaboration between business and technology teams.
- Excellent understanding of RAID and cross functional dependency management.
- Capability to design, implement and coach Agile delivery practices from a standing start.
- Deep understanding of the mechanisms and tools (e.g: MS Project, Atlassian suite, Power BI) required to manage successful delivery.
- Experience leading complex data-led and AI transformation programmes in regulated industries (e.g. financial services, pensions, insurance, asset management).
- Comfortable operating in environments where commercial outcomes (ROI, capacity release, cost reduction) are as important as delivery milestones.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- A naturally collaborative approach to your work.
- Enthusiasm and comprehensive understanding of the business and modern technological landscape and an ability to translate that knowledge to solve client problems.
