About the Role

Develop mobile applications that provide cross-platform user experiences, collaborating with multiple platforms including PlayStation consoles. Responsibilities include social features like party functions, real-time state changes, and development/improvement for large-scale users. This role involves active participation in the entire development process, from technical investigation of product requirements to design, implementation, testing, and operational improvement. There are opportunities for involvement in architectural design and framework adoption.

Responsibilities

Develop mobile applications for cross-platform user experiences, integrating with PlayStation consoles and other platforms.
Develop social features such as party functions.
Engage in development and improvement of features for real-time state changes and large-scale users.
Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, including technical investigation, design, implementation, testing, and operational improvement.
Participate in architectural design and framework adoption.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to enhance user experience.
Develop for the PlayStation App and potentially other related mobile applications.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in one or more of the following:
Android app development experience using Kotlin/Java.
iOS app development experience using Swift/Objective-C.
Cross-platform app development experience using React Native/Flutter.
Experience developing applications that interface with backend APIs.
Experience in team-based software development.
Experience developing with React Native or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Knowledge and experience in UI design and state management.
Experience in product development using agile methodologies.
Experience developing with C/C++ (for native processing, performance improvements, etc.).
Ability to communicate in English (text and meetings) for collaboration with international teams.
Willingness to engage in communication in English through work.
Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent).
