About the Role

The Teammate Driving (Features) team focuses on realizing stable AD/ADAS systems for privately owned vehicles. You will develop robust, optimal software to enhance vehicle situational awareness, decision-making, and control, ultimately aiming to provide innovative automated driving experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, code, test, and evaluate AD/ADAS products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create safer and more reliable AD/ADAS systems
• Develop and integrate components to enhance functionality and performance
• Evaluate software components using simulations and real-world vehicle tests
• Conduct tests and code reviews to ensure high-quality software readiness
• Review and enhance development processes, including workflow and CI/CD practices
• Report to the driving feature engineering manager

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• Experience in research or product development of robotics, AD/ADAS, or related technologies
• Hands-on software development skills in C/C++ or Python
• Working proficiency in English
• Business level proficiency in Japanese
