About the Role

Lead from the front and act as a strong presence on the floor, ensuring an exceptional client journey through impeccable service, team inspiration and seamless day to day operations, upholding CHANEL’s standards of excellence in every client interaction. The role of a Team Manager acts as a vital link between the boutique team and senior management, aligning daily performance with CHANEL’s strategic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the bridge between the shopfloor and the senior management team.
  • Lead the team with a collaborative approach.
  • Report into the Assistant Managers and ultimately the Boutique Director, providing constant feedback and solving any difficult scenarios.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver the ultimate Chanel experience.
  • Coach the team to ensure and maintain the shopfloor to a luxury standard (VM, wrapping, replenishment).
  • Drive business priorities through FA engagement with CHANEL & Moi, CRM, IFL.
  • Embed a culture of consistent learning, clienteling and exceptional service.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all operational procedures and systems and support the FA team.
  • Provide feedback to the Management team on department performance in terms of sales, merchandising and action plans.
  • Create a thriving team environment and embed the best conditions for success.
  • Develop a positive culture of psychological safety and constant two-way communication.
  • Ensure a calm and professional atmosphere through leading by example and being present.
  • Be transformational by looking to the long term and creating the team of the future.
  • Understand luxury and CHANEL’s positioning within it.
  • Protect the brand for the long term.
  • Motivate and inspire your team with your enthusiasm for luxury service.
  • Work collaboratively with your team and the wider business.
  • Encourage development of your team.

Requirements

  • Great communication skills.
  • Diplomacy and the ability to filter messages from Senior Managers to the floor and vice versa.
  • Adaptability, fearless curiosity, being able to flex into different areas where required and embrace new challenges.
  • A calm and confident approach, with a strong sense of responsibility.
