About the Role
Onterris is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join their Contaminated Land and Water team in Brisbane, Queensland. This role offers the opportunity to work with industry leaders, collaborate with over 45 land and water professionals, and receive mentorship for long-term career development. Relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
- Successfully project manage projects that are delivered on time and on budget
- Play a key role in overseeing and conducting detailed site inspections
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Prepare and submit complex reports and proposals
- Provide advice regarding environmental legislation and guidelines
- Mentor and develop juniors
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management or related field
- 7+ years experience within contaminated land and water
- Some understanding of QLD and national environmental frameworks
- Industry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue this
