About the Role
We are looking for a Construction Manager to coordinate construction sites in the data center environment. In this position, you will be responsible for the coordination and smooth installation of our systems in coordination with the responsible production plants and the construction sites on-site. Projects can encompass the entire Schneider Electric portfolio, from power distribution, UPS and cooling systems, to building management systems.
Responsibilities
- Execution, monitoring, and control of demanding technical installations
- Commissioning, fault analysis, instruction on system function, and execution of acceptances
- Coordination and performance monitoring of subcontractors and temporary workers
- Technical coordination with the customer, other trades, and project management
- Technical leadership of SE service technicians and our subcontractors, personnel deployment planning, and ensuring occupational safety
- Participation in claims management
Requirements
- Training as an electronics technician for operational technology or training in the field of cooling technology/plant construction, as well as initial professional experience in construction management
- Strong practical skills and interest in independently solving demanding tasks
- Willingness to travel (within the DACH region) and a Class B driver's license
- Independent, responsible way of working in a remote environment
- Willingness to undertake project-related travel to construction sites and project locations (approx. 10-20%)
