About the Role

At The Coca-Cola Company, Brand Managers craft a vision for the future of our brands, driving innovation and executing strategies for ingredients, innovation, design, and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develops integrated marketing plans and outstanding execution in the marketplace.
  • Leads category strategy utilizing consumer, category, commercial, and industry insights to create winning long-term plans.
  • Delivers profitable, sustainable volume growth in the category while ensuring continuous improvement of long-term brand value.
  • Manages the portfolio of established brands to meet company objectives, monitoring the marketplace for new opportunities.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the brand's consumer base to formulate integrated marketing and communication programs.
  • Identifies proactive opportunities, competitive benchmarking, and insight-based strategy development for the existing portfolio.
  • Manages consumer marketing resources efficiently and applies innovation pipeline for product and packaging development.
  • Leads and develops effective working relationships with the extended marketing community, operations, and key stakeholders.
  • Leads and participates in key global/regional projects to ensure synergy across markets.
  • Coaches and develops members of the Marketing Team and participates in the selection process for Marketing associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Communications or related field required; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in a previous marketing role.
  • 2+ years of experience in a brand management role with the ability to steward brand initiatives.
  • Knowledge of syndicated sources (e.g., AC Nielsen, IRI, CCT+, Home Scan) for trended consumer and volume dynamics analysis.
  • Knowledge of procedures used to drive increases in volume and brand equity (e.g., marketing programs, licensed/specialty merchandise and/or properties).
  • Ability to apply basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT Analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, consumer segmentation) for marketing plan development.
