About the Role
This position centrally manages relationships with IFM suppliers, reports to the Head of IFM & Workplace Services, and works closely with cross-functional partners and the leadership team. As Market Areas are delivered through outsourced parties, managing this relationship is key to successful Workplace Services delivery. This role leads strategic supplier partnerships through Account Development Plans, performance indicators, and contract mechanisms, serving as a trusted advisor and commercial driver. The position supports major contract renewals and requests for proposals while participating in global IFM initiatives. The role enhances collaboration to foster innovation across IFM, Sustainability, Workplace Experience, and Technology, creating data-driven solutions that combine technology, expertise, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own and govern the Central RE relationship and Global Services Agreement with the IFM supplier, ensuring strategic alignment and continuous improvement across regions
- Drive the Account Development Plan, engage in market analysis with suppliers, and identify new contractual opportunities
- Contribute to Real Estate thought leadership and develop best practice processes, strategies, and procedures
- Support commercial negotiations ensuring adherence to governance and compliance throughout
- Maintain key statistics, updates, and collateral in relevant knowledge repositories
- Support commercial model development, including pricing and resourcing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to gather input and ensure alignment on strategies and messaging
- Conduct regular IFM contract reviews to assess effectiveness, share insights, and identify improvement opportunities across the organization
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IFM bids or solutions IFM contract experience, including outsourced bundled, integrated, or vested contracts, preferably across multiple countries
- Proven negotiation, stakeholder, and supplier management skills
- Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, deadline management, and delivering results under pressure
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and internal partners across multiple countries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strategic mindset with analytical thinking skills and ability to develop effective value propositions
- Deep understanding of real estate processes, models, and strategies
- Strong change and improvement management skills with adaptability and continuous improvement focus
- Excellent influencing abilities and facilitation skills
- Self-starter capable of working independently while contributing as a cooperative team member
- Emotional intelligence and ability to adapt style to the situation
