About the Role
Responsible for providing drink orders to service staff and guests, delivering prompt and courteous service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper attire/uniform and name tag.
- Provide outstanding service to guests, members, and other service staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Produce drinks for servers, guests, and members according to standard recipes.
- Maintain familiarity with the wine list, stemware, and appropriate garnishes.
- Keep bar stocked and clean at all times.
- Monitor inventory.
- Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
- Maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings.
- Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to TIPS laws.
- Assist with front of house tasks to meet business demands, such as greeting tables, taking initial drink orders, and polishing glassware/silverware.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
- Participate in department meetings and other required trainings.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain current CA Food Handlers and TIPS certifications.
- 1 year bartending experience required.
- Prior server experience preferred.
- Comprehensive wine, liquor, and beer knowledge required.
- Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
