About the Role
You will strengthen and mature the technology outsourcing and vendor governance framework. By collaborating with Technology, Risk, and business teams, you will oversee service provider performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic advice to maintain effective, resilient, and risk-aligned vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT outsourcing governance and ensure CPS 230 compliance
- Oversee vendor relationships, including performance reviews against SLAs and KPIs
- Handle contract management, renewals, and commercial negotiations
- Maintain the IT outsourcing register and conduct risk assessments including exit planning
- Manage technology outsourcing risk and resilience, including incident and disruption response
- Engage stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Legal, and Finance departments
- Report, document, and drive continuous improvement of outsourcing practices
Requirements
- Experience in IT vendor management, outsourcing governance, or technology procurement in a regulated environment
- Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships, escalations, and performance
- Expertise in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology service agreements
- Knowledge of APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234 requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder influencing skills in complex environments
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
