About the Role

Lead a portfolio of strategically important projects that support the delivery of justice services across NSW. Oversee complex project delivery from end to end, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and in line with organisational priorities. Work across multiple initiatives, managing interdependencies and guiding teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for the community.

Responsibilities

• Drive the successful delivery of a complex project portfolio, balancing competing priorities and interdependencies to implement legislative change, optimise processes, enhance WHS compliance, and deliver and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop business cases, project plans and governance structures to support effective delivery.
• Monitor project performance, including risks, budgets and benefits realisation.
• Lead and support project teams, providing direction, coaching and performance oversight.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage sensitive negotiations.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support decision making.
• Use data and insights to continuously improve project outcomes and delivery approaches.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex, strategic projects or portfolios in a large organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and manage competing priorities.
• Experience developing business cases, managing governance processes and applying project methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams to achieve outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, including translating complex information for diverse audiences.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

• $149,739 to $173,174 per annum + Super + Leave Loading
