About the Role
This hands-on data engineering role focuses on designing data models, building pipelines, and managing analytics platforms using Snowflake. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions while contributing to back-end and DevOps engineering tasks across multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake
- Develop and tune complex SQL, stored procedures, and transformations
- Leverage Snowflake capabilities like Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, and dynamic tables
- Manage Snowflake performance, governance, cost, and security
- Design and maintain back-end APIs and services in Python and C#/.NET
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Configure and maintain infrastructure on Windows Server and Linux
- Integrate third-party platforms and APIs
- Troubleshoot production issues across multi-client environments
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture decisions, and code reviews
- Collaborate with account managers and clients to scope and deliver work
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on data engineering
- Deep, hands-on Snowflake expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and pipeline development
- Knowledge of Snowflake performance tuning, cost optimization, and security
- Strong proficiency in Python and C#
- Experience with relational SQL databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
- Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Practical DevOps experience with CI/CD and deployment automation
- Comfort working in Windows Server and Linux environments
- Ability to manage and context-switch across multiple concurrent client projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
