About the Role
CoreCivic is seeking a Security Monitor I, Community Corrections to supervise the facility population, ensuring safety, security, and sanitation. This role provides care, custody, and control of residents, establishing a safe environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Monitor resident population and report suspicious activities or violations.
- Conduct resident counts, searches, room inspections, and vehicle searches.
- Perform drug and alcohol testing as needed.
- Process residents for intake/discharge.
- Monitor resident worker activities, provide instruction, and ensure quality of work.
- Perform rescue functions, administer basic emergency medical aid and CPR, and evacuate individuals from dangerous situations.
Requirements
- Must be available to work any hours, any shift.
- Must complete pre-service and other training programs as required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
