About the Role

The Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up and operating a production machine according to established procedures and guidelines, ensuring the final product meets customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Secures and maintains material and supplies required for operation.
• Completes work area setup.
• Operates and feeds the machine safely and efficiently.
• Monitors the machine to ensure quality.
• Stacks completed products according to procedures.
• May cover, label, and band components/finish product.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized.
• Ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes preshift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures.
• May perform specified preventive maintenance.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills

• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Experience Level

• Minimum of 6 months of experience

Education Level

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
