About the Role
Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a Practice Management Consultant to join the Practice Management Group. This role is responsible for managing, facilitating, and designing programs to improve the profitability and growth of Financial Advisors across Canada. The individual will identify opportunities for improvement within advisor businesses and provide access to available resources.
Responsibilities
- Help lead the design and implementation of Practice Management programs to help Financial advisors gain efficiencies and attract more assets
- Lead the delivery of in branch practice management workshops
- Develop close relationships with Branch Managers and work with them in supporting Financial advisors with practice management best practices
- Partner with the VP, Practice Management in working with select Financial advisor teams opting for more in-depth personalized practice management support
- Act as a trusted partner to Financial advisors by identifying innovative opportunities to enhance business performance and practice growth
- Participate in expanding our internal resources available to Financial advisors
- Assist our Financial advisors with identifying the gaps (&/or opportunities) in their businesses and subsequently point them to internal and/or external resources to fill those gaps
- Identify and implement successful strategies for Financial advisors to achieve targets
- Assist them in executing those strategies consistently over time
Requirements
- A post-secondary education
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services
- Previous experience in Practice Management and coaching background is preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office, including, at minimum, intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proven leadership skills to effectively motivate people to change behaviours
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities, drive execution, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism displayed by well-developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to exercise tact and discretion
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present to large groups including senior management
- Creative thinker with superior oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgement
- Extremely service minded with strong ability to prioritize projects based on largest business impact at any given time
- Capacity to lead and coordinate multiple concurrent priorities with strong organizational effectiveness
- Ability to partner with internal teams at RJL
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
- Registered Certified Coaching (RCC) designation or other recognized coaching certifications would be an asset
