Responsibilities
- Responsible for onboarding new assets, including preparing property desk manuals, managing utilities, property documents, coordinating with accounting, handling lease abstracts, tenants, vendor contracts, and building security.
- Ensure all items are changed over and vendors/tenants are notified of changes for terminated accounts.
- Partner with support teams to complete transition or termination checklists and delegate responsibilities.
- Provide leadership and train team members.
- Manage the market accounts receivable report and ensure collections adhere to guidelines.
- Track, review, and manage the Quality Assurance Review (QAR) process for timely submission.
- Track metrics and follow up with team members to ensure compliance.
- Prepare payroll forms for reimbursable employees.
- Document and implement operating policies and procedures for team members.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and complete other duties or projects as directed or assigned.
Requirements
- High level property management experience in the commercial property management industry preferred.
- Experience supporting third-party management transitions in multifamily is highly valued.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Accounting experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication.
Skills
- YARDI, MRI, Nexus or Avid Property Management software proficiency is highly preferred.
