About the Role
As a key contributor to our HR software platform, you will develop backend processes, RESTful APIs, and website features while optimizing performance and scaling our systems to support small and medium-sized businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend processes, RESTful public web APIs, and website features.
- Research new technologies and engineer comprehensive solutions.
- Propose and implement performance optimizations and scaling strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate projects into the application.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and development processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- Proficiency in Object Oriented development.
- Experience with MySQL, including query language and database design.
- Experience with version control software, preferably Mercurial or Git.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with developers and designers.
- Service-minded attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Demonstrated technical leadership.
