About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with 0-2 years of experience, looking to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will develop financial products impacting self-employed individuals and small businesses, collaborating with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to build and scale core platform features. This position offers the opportunity for immediate product impact and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end implementation of features impacting solopreneur financial outcomes, from design to launch.
Integrate and leverage AI tools (Generative AI, LLMs) to build automated user experiences and achieve scalability.
Contribute across the full stack (Python/Django, React/TypeScript) to develop core features and replace manual financial workflows.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design to translate business requirements into product experiences.
Actively participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and planning sessions to improve engineering practices.
Learn rapidly from senior engineers and develop expertise in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

0-2 years of experience.
Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Product mindset, balancing technical excellence with customer and business impact.
Eagerness to explore and apply new technologies like Generative AI and LLMs.
Proficiency in a core programming language with experience in real projects or team contributions.
Familiarity with modern web technologies through internships or academic projects.
Based in the Bay Area.
Commitment to a hybrid schedule (3 days/week onsite in SF).
Curious, collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
