About the Role
The Investment Product Lead Analyst supports MFS’ investment strategies by managing inquiries, analyzing portfolio data, and creating client communications. This role collaborates with the Senior Strategist and investment team to maintain product knowledge and respond to client needs, ensuring clear communication about markets, products, and competitive positioning.
Responsibilities
- Manages incoming inquiries on MFS’ products across retail, MIL, and institutional sales channels, partnering with Senior Strategists.
- Runs and evaluates portfolio data, interprets performance attribution analyses, and understands investment philosophy to formulate investment themes for client communications.
- Aids in client asset retention by responding accurately and timely to product-related inquiries from clients, consultants, professional buyers, and financial advisors.
- Leads the creation of product-related materials, including presentations and attribution letters, and supports the creation of other materials like product profiles and competitive analysis.
- Ensures final compliance review of all developed materials.
- Interfaces with MFS groups outside of Global Product, including investment management, Compliance, Legal, Client Service, and reporting teams, managing strong relationships.
- Identifies process improvements and opportunities for workflow efficiencies within the team.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent investment industry experience.
- Significant experience in investment marketing and communications.
- Strong background in presenting analytical investment information and economic trends.
