About the Role
The International Tax Director will be responsible for all day-to-day international tax operations and local compliance tasks, reporting to the Global Head of Tax. This role involves coordinating international advisors, supporting internal teams with tax advice, and preparing documentation for SOX and Transfer Pricing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple international advisors on various projects simultaneously.
- Manage transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
- Handle documentation under SOX control schemes.
- Understand global direct and indirect taxes and provide business-oriented solutions.
- Prioritize and independently manage a high number of different projects concurrently.
- Fulfill global tax compliance needs.
- Coordinate advisors in countries worldwide.
- Support in-house teams with direct and indirect tax advice.
- Review and prepare documentation for SOX, Transfer Pricing, and other needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general Corporate tax compliance and/or tax advisory.
- Ideally includes basic knowledge of payroll taxation.
- A good understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Experience and knowledge of Pillar 2 topics and calculations.
- Experience with various ERP tools, such as project experience with implementing new ERP solutions would be an advantage.
- Professional MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Previous Big 4 experience would be a benefit.
- Understands double tax treaty challenges and their withholding tax consequences.
