About the Role

Learn from experienced prospect research and advancement services professionals about how to conduct prospect research and perform wealth analysis to expand fundraising capacity. Gain an understanding of the sophisticated correlation between data management and analytics and strategic decision-making. Advancement Services, Prospect Research and Advancement Analytics are the foundation to successful fundraising operations for nonprofits. Join the dynamic Advancement team at JAX.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Advancement Operations team with priority data management and enhancement projects after the recent merger of the two databases into one unified platform.
  • Utilize prospect research resources to assist in event research and new prospect identification processes; aid in data entry stemming from research exercises.
  • Provide program support in the areas of donor relations and engagement, events, prospect research, and data and gift management leading up to the JAX-NYSCF Gala in November.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate at an accredited institution.
  • Comfort working with online resources and learning new applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Detail-orientated, dedicated to accuracy, and a tolerance for repetitive work.
  • Experience working effectively independently to contribute to team success.
  • Self-motivated, naturally curious and enthusiastic to learn.
  • A high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information is expected.
