This is a builder role for individuals comfortable with causal inference, experimentation, and data quality at scale, who can translate these concepts into usable products for engineering, data science, and commercial teams. You will collaborate directly with ML, data, and infrastructure teams as a technical peer.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and execution for measurement and data initiatives, including causal measurement, attribution, identity, and data quality/observability.
- Translate causal and statistical methods into product decisions and partner with data science on production measurement and optimization.
- Define performance signal monitoring, explanation, and surfacing across large datasets to identify changes and their causes.
- Collaborate with engineering on development prioritization and align commercial, marketing, and operations teams on strategy and timelines.
- Set metrics and experimentation approaches for the area and use them to guide product releases.
- Stay current with AdTech, new technologies, industry trends, and privacy regulations.
Requirements
- Technical degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science).
- 5+ years in product management or data-heavy product roles, including experience with measurement, ML-adjacent, or data-platform products.
- Strong applied understanding in at least one of: causal inference and incrementality measurement, experimentation and A/B testing, attribution and identity, or large-scale data quality and observability.
- Proficiency with data, including SQL, data modeling, and independent analysis using notebooks or query engines.
- Comfort engaging with model behavior, evaluation, and statistical tradeoffs with data scientists and ML engineers.
- Demonstrated experience in hypothesis-driven learning and deriving actionable insights from data.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating technical specifications.
- Experience in programmatic advertising, adtech, or a similar real-time bidding or marketplace environment (preferred).
