About the Role
You’ll lead marketing across the entire business, with several products, multiple priority verticals and two distinct go-to-market motions. This role involves building the marketing engine for a business with strong product, a loyal customer base, and real momentum.
Responsibilities
- Define the marketing strategy and OKRs, goals, and operating cadence.
- Own and advance paid acquisition through rigorous testing and experimentation.
- Develop content into a flagship strength, focusing on thought leadership, SEO, and GEO.
- Build the data and systems foundation for marketing operations in collaboration with RevOps.
- Enhance Modulr's market presence through strategic product marketing, ICP definition, positioning, and messaging.
- Launch and grow Account-Based Marketing (ABM) for large enterprises.
- Develop the partner-led motion for SME acquisition.
- Shape the emerging product-led growth (PLG) motion for SME adoption.
- Grow events into a deliberate, high-impact pipeline channel.
- Lead and develop the marketing team, including hiring selectively.
- Build AI workflows and agents to enhance team efficiency and impact.
- Prototype AI solutions and coach the team in AI adoption.
Requirements
- Track record of building and scaling B2B marketing functions.
- Ability to bring strategy, people, and process together to build a consistent pipeline-generating team.
- Confidence in owning pipeline, CAC, payback, and attribution metrics.
- Analytical sharpness and commercial acumen to translate data into prioritization and decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of driving cross-functional change.
- Willingness to be hands-on with strategy, campaigns, and numbers.
- Experience across both product-led and sales-led growth motions.
- Experience in businesses with multiple products and priority verticals.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bias to outcomes and judgment to focus the team on high-impact activities.
- Real fluency with AI, including building and shipping personal agents, automations, and workflows.
- Ability to prototype AI solutions independently.
