About the Role

Amy Woodgate House Care Home is a vibrant community designed with warmth and comfort in mind, offering a place where memories are made daily. We aim to provide residents and staff with a warm, friendly, healthy, and safe environment to live and work, establishing a person-centred approach to care and building the best team by encouraging training and self-development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents with all aspects of daily living.
• Support training and supervision of junior and new Staff Members.
• Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required.
• Answer the door and telephone appropriately and pass on messages promptly.
• Report on the well-being of Clients and liaise with GPs and Support Managers.
• Carry out regular checks on Clients at intervals determined by senior Staff Members.
• Deliver a high level of personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner.
• Arrange rotas to meet resident care requirements, including medications, toileting, and bathing.
• Complete records to a satisfactory standard, ensuring changeover and Keyworker documentation are fully completed within agreed timeframes.
