Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and lead a portfolio of strategic business and technology programs.
  • Partner with leadership to translate business goals into program priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide strategic insight into initiative prioritization, blockers, and accountability.
  • Assess current initiatives and create a coherent view of existing programs, assigning priority.
  • Build lightweight program frameworks and operating processes for team alignment and consistent delivery.
  • Introduce metrics, tools, and reporting to improve transparency without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring proactive management of decisions, dependencies, and risks.
  • Facilitate clear communication regarding ownership, timelines, and alignment with big-picture goals.
  • Drive alignment across teams with diverse priorities and working styles.
  • Coordinate efforts to prevent competition or duplication.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks impacting delivery.
  • Ensure clear definition and communication of requirements, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Support the shift from reactive execution to disciplined, repeatable management practices.
  • Provide insights and structure to leaders for informed decision-making.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to deliver technology initiatives.
  • Establish and manage program roadmaps across multiple software projects.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Facilitate Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning and risk management.
  • Monitor program health through key delivery metrics, ensuring visibility into scope, schedule, quality, and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in program management or strategic operations.
  • Demonstrable record of bringing clarity and structure to ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills paired with the ability to operationalize ideas into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with program management and collaboration tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Notion, etc.).
  • Experience leading cross-functional technology, software, or digital transformation programs.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and software development processes.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable program plans and delivery milestones.
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or similar project and portfolio management platforms.
  • Experience leading programs within organizations that are growing, evolving, and subject to operational change.
  • Background in PMO creation, cross-functional leadership, or transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive progress in matrixed or decentralized environments.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, platform, marketplace, or technology-enabled businesses.
  • Familiarity with software release management, change management, and product development frameworks.
