About the Role

This role is responsible for the safety of personnel and contractors, aiming for zero safety or environmental incidents. The position involves managing small capital projects from concept through closure, identifying growth and cost-saving opportunities, and fostering teamwork and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of any contractors working on projects.
• Complete projects with zero safety or environmental incidents.
• Manage concept, design, estimating, quote requisition, proposal submittal, purchasing, installation, start-up, commissioning, documentation, training, and closure of small capital projects.
• Identify growth and cost savings projects to contribute directly to the productivity and costs associated with manufacturing.
• Create an environment conducive to teamwork with other engineers and employees.
• Produce and give effective presentations.
• Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills.
• Develop multi-tasking and time management skills.

Requirements

• PC skilled with word processing, database, presentation, and spreadsheet experience.
• Well-organized and team-oriented with leadership potential.
