About the Role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Ward Clerk to join their Rehabilitation team. This role is vital to the patient's journey and experience, contributing to the smooth running of administrative processes and patient inquiries with courtesy and respect for dignity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, letter writing and dealing with telephone enquiries regarding all aspects of clinic activity.
  • Communicate with wards and departments regarding patient transfers to improve session times and turnaround.
  • Handle initial complaints from patients or GPs via face-to-face or telephone, referring to advice as appropriate.
  • Provide a point of contact and service for patients' families.
  • Liaise with Concierge, GPs, Security and similar service support teams to provide a seamless experience.
  • Update departmental time sheets and enter workforce hours on the relevant electronic system.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly refined verbal communication skills
  • Good keyboard and IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in a private hospital preferred
  • Experience of dealing with members of the public / patient facing roles
