About the Role

Westlake Dermatology has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant at our Domain location. This role involves assisting physicians with patient care, procedures, and education, as well as managing schedules and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the physician with patient care, including obtaining history, chief complaint, and consents
• Assisting with cosmetic procedures (including Botox, fillers, etc.)
• Preparing exam rooms
• Escorting patients to room and preparing them for provider
• Assisting in patient education regarding aftercare protocols and what to expect after treatment
• EHR charting
• Stocking of rooms
• Turnover of rooms
• Reviewing and managing schedule to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately
• Ensuring supplies needed for procedures are available

Requirements

• Prior EHR (EMA) experience is a plus
• Prior dermatology or plastic surgery experience is preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Education Level

• High school diploma plus either completion of a college degree or a Medical Assistant program required
• Medical assistant certification is preferred

Salary/Compensations

• $18.00 - $20 per hour
