About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer (all genders), you will successfully transition digital projects for the eSociety into the cloud. In a highly motivated environment, you will shape digital transformation from idea to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Accompany cloud transformation projects from the initial customer conversation to successful cloud operation.
- Manage the migration and operation of systems in cloud environments, supporting strategic planning and the development of cloud infrastructures.
- Analyze existing IT systems of our clients and plan their migration to the cloud.
- Ensure secure cloud operation and compliance with guidelines through monitoring and logging systems.
- Collaborate closely with service developers and advise project managers and clients on cloud architecture best practices.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in cloud architectures, deployment strategies, scaling, and cloud security best practices (e.g., IAM, Security Groups, Encryption).
- Familiarity with OpenShift/OKD, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, including automation, GitOps, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) and a passion for automation.
- Ability to develop creative and structured solutions aligned with requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or C5.
- Capability to clearly explain technical concepts.
- Confident communication in German and English with various stakeholders.
