About the Role

This role involves providing management support to desk-based adjusters, ensuring the success of the Real Estate TPA team, and delivering the highest standards of customer service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of desk-based claims handlers to ensure they provide the highest standards of customer service.
  • Motivate the team to achieve targets and personal goals efficiently.
  • Manage the allocation of new claims.
  • Manage and check Real Estate reports for distribution.
  • Handle technical referrals from the team.
  • Manage team workflow to ensure coverage for absences and holidays.
  • Manage the holiday calendar and authorizations.
  • Conduct monthly 1-to-1 meetings and complete appraisals within required timescales.
  • Oversee and monitor the progress of the desk-based teams' claims.
  • Identify training needs within the team and implement necessary training.
  • Provide account management support as required.
  • Handle complaint calls received by the team.
  • Perform other ad hoc work as required.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and in a structured manner.
  • 3 years of experience in property (domestic/home or commercial).
  • Strong management skills.
  • 3 years of experience working as a team leader or supervisor.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure working environment.
  • Driven to meet and exceed targets set for the Real Estate Team.
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required.
