About the Role
Almedia is seeking a Chief of Staff to own company performance by ensuring high standards, clear growth paths, and consistent rigor across all teams. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, building trust with senior leadership, and bringing calm, consistent execution.
Responsibilities
- Establish consistent performance expectations across every team.
- Work with department leads to define clear progression frameworks.
- Translate company values into day-to-day operating norms, rituals, and behaviors.
- Partner with the SLT to ensure performance is reviewed regularly, feedback lands well, and performance is addressed early.
- Ensure bonus, equity, and recognition structures reflect and reinforce performance outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience operating at C-level proximity in a high-growth startup (100-300 people).
- A track record of raising standards across teams, not just within one function.
- Strong people instincts, ability to build trust quickly and challenge senior stakeholders without creating friction.
- Hands-on experience with performance frameworks, levelling, or compensation design.
- Bonus: background in elite environments (professional sports, military, top-tier consulting).
