About the Role
NG Bailey is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to Europe's largest and most technologically advanced life sciences facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety first and foremost message is visible and alive through all project activities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company policies and processes in line with contractual obligations.
- Understand project contract terms, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure they are commercially mitigated or enhanced.
- Identify any changes in line with NG Bailey’s contractual obligations.
- Maintain all records to maximize contractual entitlements.
- Communicate risk and contract terms to operational teams and maintain an understanding of project status.
- Prepare, submit applications, and secure payment recovery, substantiating compensation or variations.
- Manage sub-contract accounts through to final account settlement with support.
- Monitor and control progress with the operational team, providing accurate internal reporting.
- Ensure availability of all project reports, applications, certificates, payments, and timely, quality delivery.
- Negotiate to settle the project account with the client with support.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with an M&E background.
- Experience of change and subcontract management.
- Experience in JCT form of contract.
