About the Role

As a Software Engineer - Frontend, you will craft and enhance functionalities for pet parents, working across UI, microservice-based backends, and data processing to solve complex customer and business problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, resilient solutions.
• Build and enhance frontend components using React, TypeScript, and NextJS.
• Maintain code quality through automated testing with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Integrate with backend APIs and manage asynchronous data flows.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Engage in scrum ceremonies including grooming, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Adhere to enterprise architecture and coding standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers through design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with high-performing, scalable systems.
• Ability to break down product requirements into well-defined tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience monitoring, triaging, and addressing production issues.
