About the Role

This critical role focuses on acquiring Mid Market accounts, essential for Sigma's business growth. The ideal candidate will excel at establishing high-level connections, navigating complex organizations, and closing deals that significantly impact both customer and company trajectories. This position offers a career-defining experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Owning a territory comprised of named digital native companies in the Mid-Market space
  • Conducting deep account planning and developing whitespace strategy
  • Maintaining accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce
  • Utilizing knowledge of the data and analytics space to engage with diverse businesses in consultative sales
  • Managing the entire sales process from initial contact to contract finalization
  • Collaborating with a team of motivated representatives
  • Acquiring new customers and fostering advocates for Sigma in the business intelligence market
  • Engaging with partners in the data ecosystem to build pipeline or support customer needs
  • Generating new revenue for a rapidly growing company

Requirements

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate
  • Proven track record of multi-threading & navigating complex deal cycles with large ASP
  • Runs value based discovery tied to driving business impact for customers
  • A principled, honest, and results-oriented team player who leads with humility and drives meaningful change
  • Ideally 4+ years of experience closing deals
  • A motor to prospect (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, donut drops etc) is a non-negotiable
  • Experience with sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, POVs, Sandler etc)
  • A track record of success in pipeline generation and quota attainment
  • Team player, hustler, all-around sales superstar

Skills

  • Strategic thinking regarding data's role in transformation, decision-making, and competitive advantage
  • Experience in the data space (Warehouses, Pipelines, Analytics, etc.) is preferred
  • Background in high-tech software sales is preferred
  • Partnership and co-selling experience is preferred

Salary/Compensations

  • $100,000 - $130,000 annually (base salary)
  • Eligible for variable pay (based on goal achievement)
