About the Role

Sigma is seeking a Marketing Engineer to drive pipeline growth through the website and scale marketing operations. This hybrid role blends performance marketing, web development, and applied AI, empowering you to write code, run experiments, and build systems that accelerate marketing and sales processes. Success will be measured by website conversion rates (particularly S2 quantified deal SQL generation), free trial activation, and the automation of marketing tasks. This is a new position offering significant autonomy in tooling and process selection, with close collaboration across Product Marketing, Sales, and the data team.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Data-to-Web Automation Pipeline, including Sales-to-Web Workflow, Content Operations, and AI Tooling.
  • Automate the production of customer stories, pricing pages, and feature pages to ensure same-day updates.
  • Develop prompts, Claude Skills, and integrations to ensure pipeline reliability and ease of use for non-engineers.
  • Optimize Website Performance by diagnosing site performance, identifying high-impact page changes for SQL generation and trial conversion, and running A/B tests.
  • Ship code-level changes and measure outcomes against pipeline impact.
  • Rebuild the trial flow to increase conversion rates from trials to qualified opportunities.
  • Ship Web Pages with Product Marketing by partnering to design, build, and launch pages without separate development cycles.
  • Build and maintain a reusable component library to enable faster page deployment by Product Marketing Managers.
  • Own performance, accessibility, and SEO for the marketing site.
  • Enable Sales with AI by building a GTM Resource Library with AI-generated battlecards, one-pagers, microsites, and sales tools.
  • Develop prompts, workflows, and Skills for AI-powered sales document generation.
  • Track adoption of AI workflows and retire underperforming ones.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth engineering, marketing operations, or a related field at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Ability to ship production-quality code for a marketing site.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with REST APIs.
  • Experience with a headless CMS such as Sanity, Contentful, or Webflow.
  • Ability to analyze conversion data using SQL and a BI tool.
  • Understanding of A/B testing and statistical significance.
  • Experience building with LLMs like Claude, GPT, or similar.
  • Ability to assess the practical applications and limitations of AI.
  • A marketing-oriented mindset focused on funnels and pipeline metrics.
  • Ability to write clear page copy without external agency support.
  • A bias for shipping solutions quickly.
